For over half a century, without maintaining his emotional distance, Avi Roth has been photographing images that are beyond voyeurism, images that form a mosaic of personal identity.
The selected photographs on this site investigate and display the small moments that make up our daily life. Images of pleasure, grief, stoicism, shyness, the sheer endurance of ordinary people, children and places all of which have captivated his attention.
The images on this website have been optimized for your viewing pleasure. However, only the enlarged fine art print meticulously prepared and designated as the art’s final destination can convey the magnificent details of the original photographs. All prints in his collection are original and are printed with an Archival Inkjet process, a digital method of fine art printing particularly suitable for smaller editions. Ultrachrome K3 inks and Hahnemühle or Canson papers, as well as Belgian linen are being used in the printing process, all of which exceed museum standards. Laying this ink on these substrates result in exceptional beauty and character to perfectly complete his photographic art.
